That meeting will also include setting the rules for 2011.Sept. 21st, we will have our Awards Dinner (Brisket prepared by Chef Lowery). Club members are asked to bring the desserts, side dishes, and drinks. MARK YOUR CALENDAR FOR A FUN EVENING AND GREAT FOOD.

The FVBC traveled to Lake Maumelle , Saturday, March 27th, for our 3rd tournament of the year. We had 22 members fishing. There were 6 five fish limits brought to the scales with 58 fish being weighed over-all. The total weight was 86.42 lbs. Big Bass of the day was a 4.69 brusier caught by Jeremy Belk on a swim bait, with a pay-out of $110. Paul Browning took first place with 9.28 lbs. and a check for $264, his fish were all caught on a jig-off rocks. Vern Rotruck took second with 8.59 lbs. and a check for $158. He said his fish all came from the grass on a spinner bait. Creighton Sawyer took 3rd, with 8.27 lbs and a check for $106. Creighton wouldn't give out his secret technique of catching his fish.
